Adobe launched its CX Enterprise Coworker plugin inside ChatGPT at OpenAI DevDay 2026, bringing marketing workflow tools into an interface many enterprise employees already use, The Futurum Group reported on October 5.
The plugin covers audience curation, journey design, asset creation, offer decisioning and channel activation. Adobe said more than 2,500 early adopters are using it and are shortening campaign timelines from weeks to days. That figure comes from Adobe's own announcement.
Adobe is also a launch partner for OpenAI's Marketplace, which lets enterprises apply existing OpenAI spend toward CX Enterprise Coworker licenses. An integration between Adobe Workfront and OpenAI's Agents API is scheduled for October 2026, which will allow ChatGPT agents to handle asset quality checks, copywriting and localization tasks.
Futurum cited survey data on enterprise demand. Of enterprise software decision makers, 86.6 percent rank autonomous agents, bots or agentic AI as a top technology priority, and 51.3 percent plan to deploy it in sales, marketing or service functions. The report places Adobe's share of the CRM market at 9.4 percent, equal to $5.3 billion in revenue, and its share of project and portfolio management at 4.8 percent, or $0.5 billion. It projects the enterprise software market will reach $762.1 billion by 2031, growing at a 12.2 percent compound annual rate.
