ChatGPT recorded 5.32 billion web visits in June 2026, more than the 4.7 billion drawn by the next 14 most visited AI tools combined, according to a Visual Capitalist ranking built on AITools.xyz data modeled from SEMrush and Ahrefs traffic estimates. That total gives ChatGPT roughly 53 percent of all web traffic across the 15 tools in the ranking.

Google's Gemini placed second at 1.14 billion monthly visits, followed by Anthropic's Claude at 968 million and the Australian design platform Canva at 760 million. Google Translate added 343 million, giving Google two entries in the top five. The combined Gemini and Google Translate total still lands under a third of ChatGPT's traffic, a gap the ranking highlights for a company that owns the dominant search engine, browser and mobile operating system.

American tools hold 12 of the 15 positions. Canva, China's DeepSeek at 319 million visits and Spain's Magnific at 117 million are the three exceptions. DeepSeek ranks sixth overall.

Further down the list, Grok recorded 190 million monthly visits, Perplexity 141 million, Notion 111 million, Zoom 96 million, Microsoft Copilot 93 million and Suno 82 million. The Copilot figure reflects the measurement method, since the ranking counts website visits only and excludes mobile app and API usage, which carries a large share of Microsoft distribution through Windows and Office.

Concentration at the top has held for close to four years after the ChatGPT launch, even as new tools enter a crowded market. Character based chat services also register meaningful scale, together drawing more monthly visits than Perplexity and Microsoft Copilot combined.
