Insight Global, a talent, consulting, and AI company headquartered in Dunwoody, Georgia, announced this week that it plans to hire more than 1,700 employees in 2026 to meet what the company describes as surging demand for technical talent and AI transformation services.
The hiring push spans consulting, technical delivery, sales, recruiting, and corporate operations, according to a company news release. Insight Global said demand for its staffing services has grown 15% over the past year, while demand specifically tied to AI work increased 136% in early 2026 compared with the same period the previous year.
CEO Bert Bean said in the release that unlocking the value of AI systems requires human expertise alongside processing power. "You can't outsource transformation to software. You need people who know how to build and run it," Bean said.
Cillian Maher, president of the company's consulting division, said reduced headcount is not the way to get the most value out of AI adoption, adding that access to people who know how to implement AI systems has become the biggest differentiator for companies in the space.
The announcement comes as some technology companies have cut staff or paused hiring amid AI adoption, and as Georgia's information and professional services sectors have lost jobs over the past year. Insight Global, founded in Atlanta about 25 years ago, has operated its Dunwoody headquarters since 2020 and reported roughly 40,000 full-time and contract employees across 40 countries as of May.
