Georgia State University's J. Mack Robinson College of Business announced on May 21, 2026, that it will launch a new Master of Science in Artificial Intelligence and Business Transformation (MSAIBT) beginning in fall 2026. The three-semester, 30-credit-hour program combines applied artificial intelligence skills with business domain expertise, aimed at preparing professionals to lead AI-enabled change across organizations.
Students complete two embedded graduate certificates: one in artificial intelligence, where they select from options in generative AI and machine learning, AI for data-driven business, or AI for digital innovation; and one in a business domain including accounting, fintech, digital marketing, or management consulting. The program concludes with a capstone course in which students develop an AI-powered solution to a real-world business problem using projects from Robinson's strategic industry partners.
The Jeff and Sherry Hwang Foundation is offering 8 to 10 scholarships of $5,000 each through the Hwang AI Scholar Initiative to support the inaugural cohort. The Hwangs, who emigrated from Taiwan and built careers in technology and business after studying at Georgia State, cited the university's role in preparing students for an AI-driven economy.
Dean Richard Phillips of the Robinson College of Business stated the program aligns with how organizations across industries are integrating AI into core operations and is designed to produce graduates capable of driving innovation and leading AI-enabled transformation.
