Google unveiled a new set of AI-powered advertising tools at its Google Marketing Live 2026 event, positioning its Gemini model as the engine behind what the company describes as harder-working ads, higher-performing creative, and more deeply integrated agentic technology across its ad platforms. The announcements span Search, Shopping, and YouTube campaigns.

Among the new capabilities is demand-led pacing, an automated bidding and budgeting feature that adjusts ad spend based on real-time consumer demand signals, increasing investment on peak shopping days and pulling back during slower periods. Google also introduced new data management and measurement tools designed to help marketers run causal experiments and build a unified view of performance across their full marketing mix.

The company additionally rolled out new AI transparency features that flag ads created or edited using artificial intelligence, viewable through the "How this ad was made" section of its My Ad Center tool across Search, YouTube, and Discover. Google framed the announcements as part of a broader 2026 push to make commercial advertising experiences more automated, personalized, and measurable for businesses of all sizes.
