HubSpot reported second quarter 2026 financial results on August 5, showing total revenue of 911.7 million dollars, up 20 percent from the same period last year. The Cambridge, Massachusetts based company posted GAAP operating income of 43.3 million dollars, a reversal from a 24.6 million dollar operating loss a year earlier. Non-GAAP operating income reached 185.3 million dollars, up 44 percent.
The company added customers at a 14 percent annual pace, ending the quarter with 306,446 total accounts. Average subscription revenue per customer rose 4 percent to 11,800 dollars.
CEO Yamini Rangan said the quarter reflected deliberate choices to accelerate the company's AI transformation. She said HubSpot is evolving its product, pricing, and go to market approach so scaling companies can adopt AI agents with predictable pricing and measurable outcomes.
The results follow HubSpot's move to introduce Agent Hub and Agent Builder in public beta for Pro and Enterprise customers, giving marketing and sales teams a single place to view AI agents, track their status, and build custom agentic workflows directly from CRM data. The company's board also authorized an additional 1 billion dollar share repurchase program on August 3.
HubSpot's results add to a growing body of evidence that AI agent adoption inside marketing and sales platforms is starting to show up in enterprise budgets and customer counts as well as product roadmaps.
