HubSpot released its Fall 2026 Spotlight product update on September 16, introducing a suite of AI tools built around what the company calls Growth Context, a system meant to ground AI-generated marketing and sales output in live customer relationship management data. The centerpiece of the release is Breeze Assistant, an AI tool that coordinates specialized agents to build campaign plans, generate content and draft sales proposals based on a business's own CRM records rather than generic prompts.

The update also introduces Marketing Studio, a dashboard that surfaces a brand's AEO visibility score alongside underperforming campaign segments, reflecting the growing attention marketers are paying to how brands appear in AI-generated search answers rather than traditional search rankings. HubSpot said early customers using Marketing Studio created 81 percent more campaigns on average, while customers using Breeze Assistant generated 2.2 times more leads.

The release also expands paid channel integrations, making HubSpot the first customer relationship management platform to connect directly with ChatGPT Ads, alongside a new Microsoft Advertising integration covering Bing, Copilot and verified LinkedIn audiences.

HubSpot's chief product and technology officer, Duncan Lennox, said the company built the update because customers want AI tied to measurable outcomes rather than another disconnected tool to manage.

The rollout reflects a broader shift among marketing technology vendors toward grounding generative AI tools in structured business data, as companies work to move AI marketing spending from experimentation toward measurable return on investment.
