KPMG and Anthropic announced a global strategic alliance on May 19, 2026, creating what the firms called the KPMG Digital Gateway Powered by Claude. The partnership brings Anthropic's Claude AI directly into KPMG's client delivery platform, making the model available across KPMG's service lines including audit, tax, advisory, and consulting.

The alliance follows a separate expansion announced on May 14, 2026, in which PwC deepened its partnership with Anthropic to accelerate how the firm uses Claude to build technology, execute transactions, and reinvent enterprise functions for its clients.

Anthropic also announced at its Code with Claude 2026 event in San Francisco on May 6 that it was expanding developer platform capabilities including new Managed Agents features covering multiagent orchestration, outcomes, and webhooks. Higher rate limits for Claude Code and Claude Opus API access were also made available as part of that announcement.

The scale of enterprise AI adoption in professional services has accelerated considerably in 2026. KPMG and PwC are among the largest global professional services organizations, and their moves to integrate frontier AI models into core client workflows signal broad deployment of AI systems beyond pilot programs into operational delivery.
