Air France Industries KLM Engineering & Maintenance and Woodward announced an Elite Licensed Repair Service Facility agreement at the MRO Americas 2026 conference, authorizing AFI KLM E&M to provide a full suite of maintenance, repair, and overhaul services for Woodward components across the CFM International LEAP engine family.
The agreement covers LEAP-1A and LEAP-1B engine variants and includes fuel controls, actuators, pumps, and valves -- critical systems tied directly to engine performance and fuel efficiency. The Elite LRSF designation is the highest authorization tier Woodward grants to third-party service providers, reflecting AFI KLM E&M's technical depth and investment in CFM LEAP infrastructure.
The announcement came as MRO Americas celebrated its 30th anniversary in Orlando, where industry leaders described a market experiencing strong growth despite persistent supply chain pressure and geopolitical uncertainty. The CFM LEAP engine program approaches its 10th year in commercial service with a global fleet that is driving sustained demand for qualified overhaul capacity.
Multiple major agreements were signed during the conference, reflecting broad industry confidence in long-term narrowbody fleet growth and the deepening MRO ecosystem being built around next-generation engine platforms.
