Aventure Aviation has acquired Atlanta Aviation International, an FAA certificated repair station based in Atlanta, and plans to integrate the operation into its campus in Peachtree City, Georgia.
The acquisition adds airframe and interior capability to a company that had built its business primarily around aircraft parts supply and component distribution. Atlanta Aviation International holds repair station certification covering the categories that support cabin interior refurbishment and related structural work, and folding that certificate into the Aventure organization gives the combined business an in house route for work it previously had to place with outside shops.
Peachtree City sits in Fayette County, roughly 30 miles south of downtown Atlanta and within the metropolitan area served by Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport. Aventure's campus there includes a newly constructed warehouse of about 70,000 square feet, which the company uses for parts inventory, teardown material and distribution.
Georgia has drawn a concentration of maintenance, repair and overhaul activity over the past decade. The state's aerospace cluster spans engine overhaul, component repair, business aviation service and parts distribution, supported by proximity to Hartsfield-Jackson and to a supplier base that developed around commercial and military programs.
The transaction reflects a pattern visible across the MRO sector, where parts distributors and service providers have been combining to capture more of the value chain. Operators dealing with extended component lead times have shown willingness to consolidate work with providers that can handle both the physical repair and the replacement material sourcing under one agreement.
