Boeing values the global market for commercial aviation support and services at $4.7 trillion over the 20 years from 2025 to 2044, according to its Commercial Market Outlook. That figure spans maintenance, repair, overhaul and modifications, parts and supply chain, training and professional services, and digital solutions.
Near-term production is recovering. Boeing's outlook points to more than 700 aircraft deliveries in 2026, and the company delivered 143 aircraft in the first quarter of 2026, ahead of Airbus at 114.
The long-range demand picture is substantial. Boeing projects a need for 43,600 new commercial airplanes over the next two decades, with the global fleet nearly doubling to more than 49,600 aircraft. About 80 percent of in-service airplanes are expected to be replaced, accounting for more than 21,000 of those deliveries.
Sustained fleet expansion feeds directly into aftermarket demand, supporting maintenance providers, parts suppliers and training organizations across the United States and other established aviation markets through the forecast horizon.
