Aircraft parts search activity reached the highest level in Locatory.com's 2026 data in September, rising 34.5% from August and closing the third quarter, according to an Aviation Pros parts report published November 2, 2026.

In North America, standard hardware and seals accounted for 45% of the top parts searches. Engine components followed at 25%, electrical and avionics parts at 12%, airframe and landing gear parts at 10%, cabin and safety items at 6%, and chemicals at 2%.

Global figures show a similar order with a larger engine share. Engine components made up 31% of the global top 50 searches, and electrical and avionics parts made up 14%. Locatory.com attributes the gap to four Boeing 737 engine accessories and an integrated drive generator that appear only on the global list. The North American list instead carries five fasteners and bushings, a Boeing 787 heater assembly, and one compressor diffuser.

The most searched standard hardware included rivets, bolts, nuts, gaskets, a seal, a washer, a spring, and a pin-rivet collar. Locatory.com reports that heavy maintenance season creates requirements across large numbers of relatively routine parts, such as fasteners removed during access, seals and gaskets replaced during reassembly, and bearings inspected or changed.

Top engine component searches included a CFM56-5B bolt for the Airbus A320 family, a Boeing 737 transducer, a Boeing 737 temperature sensor, and an A320 family inlet cowl assembly. Avionics searches featured a TCAS upper antenna, a multi-function radar display, and a Boeing 737NG diode pack. Airframe, cabin, and chemical items drew the smallest shares of searches.
