Florida-based GA Telesis has signed a cooperation agreement with China Aviation Supplies Co. covering several areas of commercial aviation aftermarket support, the companies announced June 2. The deal spans aviation materials support, major component leasing and distribution, MRO services, and overseas asset management.

GA Telesis, headquartered in Fort Lauderdale, operates one of the larger US-based aftermarket networks, with business lines in used serviceable material distribution, component repair, engine services, and aircraft teardown. The CASC agreement gives the company a formal channel into aftermarket demand connected to one of the world's largest aircraft procurement organizations, while CASC gains access to GA Telesis's parts distribution and repair network.

Component supply remains a pressure point across the maintenance industry in 2026. Engine shop visit backlogs, extended turnaround times, and tight used serviceable material availability have pushed airlines and lessors to lock in long-term aftermarket relationships rather than buying parts transactionally.

For US MRO suppliers, distribution agreements of this type expand the addressable market for teardown material and component repair work without requiring new facility investment. The companies did not disclose financial terms of the agreement.
