Mammoth Freighters has handed over the first Boeing 777-200LRMF it converted from passenger configuration to lessor Jetran, the opening delivery of the company's 777 passenger-to-freighter program.
The aircraft carries manufacturer serial number 32222 and registration N703DN. It is the first of more than two dozen 777-200LRMF conversions Jetran has on order. Thirteen of those converted freighters are slated to enter revenue service inside the DHL global network, and further deliveries from the Jetran order book are expected within weeks, including aircraft going to DHL and Qatar Airways.
The handover follows the aircraft's public debut at the Farnborough International Airshow and moves the commercial conversion line from certification into operational service. Jetran chief executive Jordan Jaffe said the delivery validates the engineering and production quality of the program as the airplane enters active service with DHL, and he credited DHL and Mammoth for years of joint development work.
Mammoth said the delivery reflects rising demand for its 777 freighter conversion portfolio, which covers the 777-200LRMF and the 777-300ERMF that is still awaiting certification. The company received Federal Aviation Administration Supplemental Type Certificate approval for the 777-200LRMF conversion in April 2026.
Conversion work is performed at the company's Alliance Airport facility in Fort Worth, Texas, which includes a clear-span hangar of roughly 778,000 square feet. Jetran is also based in Texas, placing both sides of the transaction inside the state.
