The aviation aftermarket opened its conference calendar with a wave of deals at MRO Americas 2026 in Orlando, where Delta TechOps, AFI KLM E&M, AAR, Ontic, and a roster of component specialists sealed agreements spanning engine maintenance, digital fleet tools, and supply chain expansion.

Delta TechOps advanced its third-party MRO strategy by signing two notable deals. The first is a long-term collaboration with LATAM Airlines Brasil focused on Airbus A320 component repair. The second is an eight-year exclusive maintenance contract with IndiGo covering CFM International CFM56-5B engines. Delta also announced Airbus has deployed its Descent Profile Optimization product across Delta's entire 270-aircraft Airbus fleet -- the largest DPO retrofit across a mixed Airbus fleet to date.

AFI KLM E&M and its subsidiaries signed four agreements, led by an Elite Licensed Repair Service Facility deal with Woodward for MRO services on Woodward components across the CFM International Leap engine family, covering fuel controls, actuators, pumps, and valves. Its Epcor subsidiary also signed a 15-year contract extension with Air Canada for APS5000 auxiliary power units.

AAR signed a multi-year distribution agreement with Woodward, secured an approximately $305 million U.S. Navy and Marine Corps logistics support contract, and launched its Airvoyant subsidiary to automate aviation parts procurement with agentic AI.

Ontic added more than 1,000 parts to Boeing Distribution's portfolio through a new distribution agreement covering Grimes engine valves, while also launching a proactive teardown procurement program starting with a Boeing 747-400 formerly operated by Thai Airways.
