QumulusAI has signed a seven-year colocation agreement for up to 3.75 MW of data center capacity in metropolitan Atlanta, the Nasdaq-listed AI cloud provider announced on August 20, 2026. The deal carries a right of first offer on as much as 7 MW of additional contiguous capacity at the same site, which would bring the company footprint there to 10.75 MW if that space is built and the option is exercised.
The contracted capacity is expected to support up to 2,048 NVIDIA Blackwell B300-class GPUs. Delivery depends on the provider completing a transition of the premises with the existing occupant, and the space is expected to be ready for service in the fourth quarter of 2026.
"Contracted demand is only as good as the power you have to serve it," said Michael Maniscalco, chief executive of QumulusAI. "Acquiring multiyear capacity in our own backyard will give us room to land deployments we are signing now, and a first look at the room to grow next door."
The agreement follows a run of customer commitments the company has disclosed since early June totaling more than $246 million. Those include a three-year inference contract valued at more than $71 million announced July 28 and a GPU-as-a-Service agreement with trading firm DRW announced August 11. In July the company purchased 1,632 NVIDIA Blackwell B300 GPUs to serve that demand.
Atlanta is the company home market. QumulusAI established its corporate headquarters at Georgia Tech's Tech Square in June.
