Rum Group, the company formerly known as Rumble Inc., has signed a capacity lease agreement worth up to $13.7 billion tied to its data center campus in Maysville, Georgia. According to a filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission, the agreement covers GPU access and GPU services for an unnamed US based cloud customer at the Maysville site, which remains under development.
The customer will purchase capacity in three tranches over a six year commercial agreement. The third tranche depends on the customer's approval of Rum Group's delivery schedule. The deal also gives the customer an option to purchase up to 50.81 million shares of Rum Group Class A common stock at one cent per share, with the warrants vesting as purchases occur.
The Maysville campus, located in northeast Georgia, was originally developed by Northern Data, which announced the project in December 2024. At the time, the site was planned to offer 120 megawatts of capacity, expanding to 180 megawatts, with operations targeted for the first quarter of 2027. Rum Group gained the site through its 2026 acquisition of an 85 percent stake in Northern Data.
Rum Group already supplies dedicated cloud capacity to Together AI through a separate contract involving Nvidia HGX B300 systems. The company reported second quarter revenue of $40.36 million, up from $25.08 million a year earlier, alongside a net loss of $79.14 million as expenses climbed to support its buildout.
The lease adds to a wave of capacity commitments moving through existing Southeast data center campuses as cloud and AI providers compete for available space. Georgia's data center pipeline has drawn steady interest from hyperscale and GPU cloud operators building out infrastructure across the state's northern corridor.
