T5 Data Centers has finalized plans for a three-building campus in South Fulton County, Georgia, known as ATL IV, situated on a 91-acre site in Palmetto that is already zoned for data center use. The campus is scalable to support up to 300 megawatts of power capacity across its planned buildings, positioning it as one of the larger data center developments in the metro Atlanta area.
An on-site electrical substation is expected to become operational in 2026, providing dedicated utility power to the campus ahead of the first phase of construction, which is scheduled for delivery in 2027. The facility is designed to support high-performance computing workloads with liquid cooling technology built in from the outset, reflecting the shift among newer data center campuses toward infrastructure built specifically for AI training and inference workloads.
The ATL IV project adds to T5's existing footprint in the Atlanta market, where the company already operates multiple campuses. The expansion reflects the broader wave of data center development moving through Fulton and neighboring metro Atlanta counties as operators compete for sites with available land, water access, and proximity to power infrastructure.
