Americas Gold and Silver Corporation reported record consolidated silver production of 800,458 ounces for the third quarter of 2026 on October 19. The company, listed on the TSX and NYSE American, also sold a record 860,850 ounces of silver during the quarter.

The Galena Complex in Idaho produced 384,579 ounces of silver, and the Cosalá operations in Sinaloa, Mexico produced 415,879 ounces, a 23 percent increase from the prior quarter. Consolidated output also included 964,551 pounds of lead, 918,456 pounds of copper and 101,011 pounds of antimony. Realized prices averaged US$60.54 per ounce for silver and US$8.79 per pound for antimony.

The company describes Galena as one of the premier silver mining districts in the United States and the site of the nation's largest antimony mine. Chairman and CEO Paul Andre Huet said Galena made progress recovering from temporary production interruptions in the prior quarter. Work at the site includes construction of a paste fill plant, an upgrade to the No. 3 hoist, four new grizzlies above the ore shoot loading pockets and fibre optic communications throughout the mine. The company said the grizzlies cut the time to load one 4-ton tram car from 5 minutes to 20 seconds. Waste development is under way to prepare higher-grade silver, copper and antimony veins for future long hole stoping.

Silver production for the first three quarters of 2026 totals 2.3 million ounces. Full-year guidance is 3.2 million to 3.6 million ounces at all-in sustaining costs of US$30 to US$35 per ounce, with output weighted to the second half. The unaudited cash balance at September 30 was US$63 million, and available liquidity was US$113 million.
