Energy Fuels, the largest US uranium producer, expects to achieve its full-year production guidance by the middle of 2026, an acceleration that underscores how quickly American uranium output is scaling against a backdrop of strong prices and federal support for domestic nuclear fuel.

The company produced 1 million pounds of uranium in 2025 and guided to between 1.5 million and 2.5 million pounds for 2026. Through the first four months of the year it had already reported 1 million pounds, putting the low end of guidance within reach at the halfway mark. Energy Fuels expected to complete its current ore processing campaign at the White Mesa Mill in Utah by the end of June, allowing the facility to rebuild ore stockpiles before resuming processing in the fourth quarter.

The production ramp lands in a tightening global market. Spot uranium prices have moved back above $100 per pound, and Kazatomprom, the world's largest producer, cut its production guidance by 10% in June to support pricing. Utility demand is re-emerging after years of under-contracting, and US reactors face growing pressure to source fuel domestically.

White Mesa is the only conventional uranium mill operating in the United States, giving Energy Fuels a central role in the domestic supply chain as new demand builds.
