Highline Warren, an automotive and cleaning products distributor based in Memphis, Tennessee, plans a multi year investment of 170 million dollars in a new logistics and operations center in McDonough, located in Henry County. State officials announced the project this month, saying it would create 160 new jobs and expand the company's distribution network in the Southeast.
The facility will occupy the former Zinus building at 830 Highway 42 South, a property covering more than 1.1 million square feet. Highline Warren plans to begin hiring later this year, with operations expected to start in late 2026.
Company leadership said the McDonough location gives Highline Warren its first port of entry on the East Coast, improving how quickly products move through its supply chain and shortening delivery times for customers across the region. Governor Brian Kemp credited the state's logistics infrastructure, including a fast growing port, for drawing the investment.
McDonough Mayor Kamali Varner said the project would strengthen the local economy and bring new jobs closer to residents who already live in the area.
The project adds to a wave of logistics and distribution investment in Henry County, where warehouse and freight operators have expanded in recent years to take advantage of highway access south of Atlanta. Once operational, the center is expected to handle the movement of automotive maintenance and cleaning products for markets across the eastern United States.
